Ipexpert Training?!.

6 February 2009 No Comment

While doing my usual internet trawl for news, I came across this article on Ipexperts blog
A quick summary is that Ipexpert are starting a sister company called Ipexpert Training, This new company will offer training at the Associate and professional levels for Cisco, And I believe they plan to provide training for other vendors like Microsoft.

Very interesting news, especially in terms of the current economic situation and the fact there are pre-existing vendors operating in this space. For those who haven’t read my bio I am a CCSI ( Cisco Instructor) and during my time teaching the official Cisco courses, one issue that consistently was raised by students was a lack of hands on work in the courses. I believe if Ipexpert can design their new courses with a high amount of lab work then I believe they will be highly successful.

The article also states there will be an online community and class of demand so with my new goal of the CCDP I might even so if I can do a review of the new product range. And of course they are also offering up the usual Classroom based training, for this they will be using a separate instructor pool from the CCIE trainer, I’m not sure who these trainers will be, but maybe I should offer up my services as a contract trainer.

As I said this looks like an interesting move and one that I will be watching very closely.
